Centre for Medieval Studies

The Centre for Medieval Studies operates within the structure of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Our research teams consist of medievalists from across Poland and abroad. The Centre also cooperates with numerous domestic and foreign institutions and is supervised by an international Academic Board. Currently, we are engaged in five major research projects.

Manuscripts from the Wrocław University Library

publication of the first part of the catalogue of the medieval manuscripts from the former library of the Monastery of the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine in Żagań and a catalogue of the Dominican Order kept in the collection of Wrocław University Library

Corpus sigillorum Poloniae 

a corpus of Polish medieval seals

Bibliography of Polish Medieval Studies 

providing the International Medieval Bibliography with bibliographic records of the medieval publications released in Poland
