The Centre for Medieval Studies operates within the structure of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Our research teams consist of medievalists from across Poland and abroad. The Centre also cooperates with numerous domestic and foreign institutions and is supervised by an international Academic Board. Currently, we are engaged in five major research projects.
a printed and digital edition of the documents concerning Poland created during the pontificates of Urban VI and Boniface IX housed in the Vatican Archives
a printed and digital edition of the documents concerning Poland housed in the Archive of the Grand Masters of the Teutonic Order
publication of the first part of the catalogue of the medieval manuscripts from the former library of the Monastery of the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine in Żagań and a catalogue of the Dominican Order kept in the collection of Wrocław University Library
