The Centre for Medieval Studies and the Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw began their cooperation on 19 April 2023. The Institute will be one of the Centre’s leading partners. The Centre director, Dr hab. Paweł Kras (prof. KUL), and the director of the Institute, Prof. Dr hab. Maciej Janowski, signed a cooperation agreement outlining the following goals:

• To design and run interdisciplinary medieval studies projects
• To organise conferences
• To develop and improve digital tools necessary for Polish medieval studies
• To organise specialised workshops for PhD students and young medievalists
