On 25 April 2023, a cooperation agreement was signed between the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and Brepols Publishers. The parties were represented by the Vice-Rector for Science and Human Resources, Prof. dr habil. Beata Zarzycka, and the Brepols publishing manager, Mr Chris VandenBorre, respectively. Thereby Poland joined a group of a few dozen countries working with the International Medieval Bibliography.

The KUL Centre for Medieval Studies undertakes to add bibliographical records of Polish interdisciplinary medieval research to IMB on a regular basis.

Brepols Publishers granted the KUL University Library access to the International Medieval Bibliography.
