Academic Board

The Centre’s Academic Board was established on 17 May 2022. It comprises fifteen leading Polish medievalists representing ten Polish universities and the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as foreign institutions. It is managed by Prof. Zdzisław Noga (University of the National Education Commission in Kraków). The President of the Polish Medieval Society and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of Polish Medievalists are ex officio members. According to the Centre’s regulations, the Academic Board:

  • Proposes a candidate for the post of Centre Director
  • Evaluates the research strategy
  • Evaluates job applications
  • Supervises the Centre’s work
  • Evaluates project submissions and reports
  • Supports the Director
